Who Do Americans Trust?

Nurses. According to a Gallup poll done last month, 82% of Americans identify Nurses as being honest and ethical. This is in stark contrast to telemarketers, who received an approval rating of only 7%. Lawyers and politicians didn't fare well either, earning the trust of only 18% and 16% of the American public respectively.

At first, these numbers might seem astounding. How could one profession be identified as unethical and untrustworthy by 93% of the populace. However, if you think logically, it's impossible to deem telemarketers, as a group, trustworthy.

Journalists only got a 28% approval rating. I wonder what percentage of journalists polled gave their media colleagues favorable ratings?
